CD34 is a transmembrane protein expressed on hematopoietic progenitor cells, capillary endothelial cells, rare glial cells in nervous tissues, and embryonic fibroblasts.
Intended use
The antibody labels CD34 protein in normal and neoplastic cells. The antibody recognizes a CD34 epitope that is resistant to neuraminidase, and sensitive to glycoprotease and chymopapain. It is a useful tool for classifying vascular and lymphatic tumors, and for sub-classifying leukemia when used with a panel of antibodies
