CD20 is a transmembrane protein expressed on B-cell precursors and mature B-cells, but is lost in plasma cells
Intended use
CD20 is almost always expressed in Bcell lymphomas. The antibody labels CD20 in both normal and neoplastic cells. It is a useful tool for classifying tumor cells of B-lymphocytic lineage when used with a panel of antibodies
