Cytokeratin 5 and 6 (CK5/6) are high molecular weight cytokeratins that are expressed in various epithelial basal cells and mesothelial cells

Intended use

Cytokeratin 5 and 6 are useful for classifying squamous cell carcinoma, distinguishing malignant mesothelioma from lung adenocarcinoma, and determining breast and prostate malignancies when used with a panel of other antibodies
