Assessment criteria |

A strong, distinct nuclear staining reaction of all follicular epithelial cells in thyroid. A weak cytoplasmic staining reaction can be seen in the cytoplasmic compartment and in the extracellular colloids |

An at least weak to moderate, distinct nuclear staining reaction of the vast majority of columnar luminal epithelial cells of the terminal bronchioles in the normal lung |
|
No staining should be seen in tonsil |
