CD15 is a membrane protein expressed by most terminally differentiated myeloid cells. Activated lymphocytes are CD15 protein positive, but the majority of lymphocytes are CD15 protein negative. Additionally, CD15 protein is expressed by a range of epithelial cell types.
Intended use
A number of hematologic malignancies and solid tumors also express CD15 protein, and Tissue-Tek Genie anti-CD15 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody may be useful for the diagnosis of classical Hodgkin’s lymphoma, characterization of acute leukemia, and differentiation of mesothelioma from lung adenocarcinoma when used with a panel of other antibodies.
