Progesterone Receptor is a ligand-activated transcription factor and a member of the steroid receptor family. PR is predominantly expressed in female sex steroid responsive tissues such as the mammary gland, uterus, and ovary but is also expressed in other tissues such as endocrine cells of pancreatic islets.
Intended use
Anti-PR antibody is a useful tool for assessing PR expression in human breast carcinomas
