Napsin A is a protease that is predominantly expressed in the lung and kidney. Napsin A is expressed in
alveolar type II pneumocytes in lung and proximal tubules in kidney.
Intended use
The anti-Napsin A antibody is useful for differentiating lung adenocarcinomas from lung squamous cell carcinoma and from mesothelioma, and as an aid in the diagnosis of adenocarcinomas of unknown origin when used in a panel with other antibodies.
