Cytokeratin 8 (CK8) is low molecular weight cytokeratin that is often co-expressed with cytokeratin 18.
Cytokeratin 8 is expressed in simple, non-stratified epithelia, in transitional epithelium, and in the
luminal/secretory cells of complex epithelia
Intended use
Cytokeratin 8 is useful for the identification of adenocarcinomas of simple epithelial origin when used with a panel of other antibodies.
