CD7

CD7 is a transmembrane protein expressed on T-lymphocytes in thymus, NK cells, peripheral lymphoid tissue and blood. CD7 is expressed in majority of T-cell neoplasms, and absent in non T-cell lymphoid malignancies.

Intended use

The antibody labels CD7 in both normal and neoplastic cells and has membranous cellular staining pattern. It is a useful tool for classifying T-cell neoplasms especially for identifying of immature and precursor T-cell malignancies such as angioblastic and lymphoblastic lymphomas when using with a panel
of antibodies.
