Intended use
The antibody labels CK19 protein in normal and neoplastic cells. It is a useful tool for determining thyroid carcinoma of papillary type although it is positive in 50- 60% of follicular carcinoma when used with a panel of antibodies.

A moderate to strong, distinct cytoplasmic staining reaction of all surface epithelial cells in appendix |

At least a weak to moderate staining reaction of the epithelial cells in the basal part of the crypts in appendix |

No staining reaction in lymphocytes, endothelial cells and the vast majority of well-preserved intermediate and superficial squamous epithelial cells in tonsil
