CD79a is a membrane protein expressed on B-cells from precursors through plasma cells. CD79a is also found to be expressed in 10% of T-lympho-blastic leukemia/lymphoma. The antibody labels CD79a in normal and neoplastic cells
Intended use
CD79a is a useful tool for classifying B-cell neoplasms and Hodgkin’s disease when used with a panel of antibodies.
